I am a singer / songwriter who writes mostly in the rock and adult contemporary genre.

 

Although I do play other instruments, my main musician instruments are my voice, my heart, and my spirit. 

​

I live in Houston and love the multicultural music scene we have here.

​

I remember writing songs from a very early age.  These songs play in my head all the time and have enriched my life.

​

I write music from the depths of my soul, heart and spirit.  My songs can be empowering, energizing, and highly emotional.  They are where I vent my deepest emotions, the darkest feelings I have from the depths of my soul.  My music helps me vent darker emotions as in the case of the song I wrote called "FIGHT".  It also lifts me up as in the case of songs like "I am WOMAN".  Music helps me maintain mental and emotional health and have a happy , carefree spirit.

Music heals my heart and soul.  I cannot not do it.

I think that we are all human and my music shows that.  My music is about human empowerment, women’s empowerment, anti-prejudice regardless if it is based in gender, religious affiliation or non-religious affiliation, gender orientation, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity, body type, educational background or any other way that humans are prejudice against each other. 

 

My songs are also about the intense emotions we experience as human beings.  All of these things run through my head and heart when I write music.

As humans, we get too hung up on our emotions or our so called differences and forget what is really important. 

 

All of us are HUMAN.  That is all that matters. 

 

That and pushing ourselves to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be.  That is what my music is about.
